Doug Norval has over 15 years experience in the recruitment industry. A graduate of Sheffield University, Doug's early career was in the mechanical & electrical services sector, in which he held senior management positions with a major U.K. contractor. Eventually seeking a new direction, Doug joined a fledgling recruitment business based in Cheshire and, after 5 years as Operations Director, he left and founded MAC Employment Services Ltd. As Managing Director and majority shareholder, Doug grew MAC in to a highly regarded and successful multi-branch industrial employment business, with 'blue chip' client contracts across the North West and Yorshire (M62 corridor), specialising in food and household product manufacturing businesses, warehousing and specialist packing companies. Having accepted an offer for the business, MAC is now part of the CIP / Exertus Group and Doug is able to offer the benefit of this wide range of experience through his consulting business.
